Dr Om Foundation announces first round of scholarship recipients
Dr. Om Foundation has awarded scholarships worth Rs 2 million to 60 deserving students from seven provinces and 37 districts, prioritizing marginalized groups such as Dalits, Muslims, Janajatis, Madhesis, Tharus, orphans, people with disabilities, and low-income families. Supported entirely by proceeds from Dr. Om Murti Anil’s book Jeevant Sambandh, the foundation also provides stationery to underprivileged students and leads health and awareness initiatives, including a 2024 nationwide school program against tobacco that engaged thousands through quizzes, poetry, and art. Established in 2023, the foundation is actively working in education, health, and social transformation to uplift disadvantaged communities.
